Household Organics Site

New Prague household organics site is open and available for public use. The organics drop-off site is located at 1503 Columbus Ave N, directly east of New Prague High School. The site is fenced-in and locked at all times. The site is free for all residents in Scott and Le Sueur County to dispose of their household organics - the site is not for commercial use. This facility aims to provide a convenient and eco-friendly option for residents to responsibly dispose of their food waste. To see what organic waste will be accepted at the site, please download the attached document below.

To receive a key to the organics drop-off site, please fill out the online form. Each week, Lakers New Prague Sanitary will collect the organics waste and drop the materials at the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) Organics Recycling Facility.

The yard waste site, which is at the same location is only available to those who live in New Prague city limits. Being a New Prague resident means you pay city taxes and receive a City utility bill.
