Economic Development Authority - Six Year Term

The Economic Development Authority (EDA) was established by the city to take action on economic development programs for businesses and industries in the city. The Economic Development Authority was established by City Council resolution that was adopted on June 18, 1990. A modified resolution was adopted by the City Council on February 19, 1991. The Economic Development Authority consists of seven commissioners, all of whom are appointed as prescribed by M.S. § 469.095, Subdivision 2, as it may be amended from time to time, for six-year terms. Two Economic Development Authority commissioners must be members of the City Council.
