Heritage Park

Heritage Park is located at the intersection of Lexington Avenue N and Bohemia Street at 1101 Lexington Avenue N. As part of the Heritage Estates Subdivision, a 1 acre park was dedicated in addition to a linear piece to extend the Greenway. A full-size concrete basketball court was constructed in 1998 as a neighborhood project with financial assistance from the City. Also in the park are two benches and two picnic tables. In 2007 a brand new playground structure was added including swings and a rope climber. With the development of the Heritage 11th Subdivision, the park land has been consolidated on the east side of Lexington Avenue with a playground structure anticipated in the future. The City will seek additional park land east of the existing park when that land is developed. Currently the park, not including any portion of the greenway trail, is 1.2 acres in size. Heritage Park was adopted by New Prague High School National Honor Society.
